01 Problem
The old Astro site couldn’t keep up with the community’s growing set of events, projects and contributors.
02 What I built
The full rewrite: the design system, content model and every route, plus the poster strip, an animated node graph, Open Graph cards and Playwright end-to-end tests.
03 Impact
Gave the community a home that matches its ambition. New events and projects go live by editing content, not code, so volunteers can keep it current.
04 What I took from it
A content model is a product decision. Getting it right made every later page cheap.
